Michael Rosenmark, Danish Food Authorities, Flying Squad

Michael has a background from the police force, where he worked for 22 years. He started driving a squad in Nørrebro, Copenhagen in the 80´es, and since then he has worked 10 years for PET (Police Intelligence). He has additionally worked as Deputy Police Inspector in Lyngby. 13 years ago he started working for the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, where he was tasked with establishing and managing the Food Authorities Flying Squad, which was established as a political response to a meat scandal. The Flying Squad initially began with 6 FTEs but has grown into a unit of approx. 30 FTEs.
